Aeroprakt A-22

A-22

A-22 - ultralight aeroplane of "classic" light aeroplane layout. The design goal was to create an ultralight aeroplane with maximum level of comfort, pleasant appearance, pilot seats situated side-by-side (preferrable by many), steerable nose wheel (for easier ground handling), with good flight performance.

Unlike the A-20 designed for flight performance in the first place, the A-22 was designed with the pilot comfort and pleasure in mind. So A-22 makes a good alternative to A-20 and customers are free to decide which they like best.

A-22 structure is almost completely all-metal (only engine cowling, wing fillets and wheel spats are made of composites) with fabric covering of wing and control surfaces. Extensive glazing of the cockpit provides excellent nearly all-round pilot view.
